Student Profile
This program is designed to support students in grades K-12 whose behavior significantly impacts their ability to be successful in a typical educational program. The students in this program demonstrate poor behavioral skills and are limited in their strategies to affect a positive outcome. Students are typically either ED, LD, or OHI.
Desired Outcomes
The curriculum is aligned with NYS standards. Students receive instruction in all core curriculum areas, including special area programs. Students receive group and individual counseling by a school social worker.
Referral Process
The office responsible for coordinating student services from the student's home district will contact the appropriate BOCES program administrator to begin the referral process.

- Students will develop the necessary academic and behavioral skills that will lead to increased independence and educational success.
- Students will learn to manage their behavior and interactions.
- To provide students with necessary emotional and behavioral tools to return to a less restrictive environment, to succeed at the highest level of academic success, and/or to reach their goals regarding transition to the workforce.
- Regents/Local/or CDOC Credential.
